It’s the weekend . . after a long, rough week at our house. How about some baby pictures . . these always remind me what’s really important in life!
Chad is holding her and I can see one of the scars where the arrow went through his arm! It’s a gross picture so don’t click that link if you are feeling squeamish!
Babies make the cutest expressions!
So cute and so sweet and then . . they grow up to this:
That look! And, he better not have been lying! 🙂
And then they start driving. And you get the call that there’s been a little accident and you arrive . . way out in the middle of the country . . corn fields as far as you can see. Then as we get closer, you realize the black smoke is actually Chad’s car!
As much as I want to live closer to them now, I am not sure I want to be real close during Adalina’s teen years . . not that it matters a whole lot what I want . . you know?

so sweet….

They do survive the teens and it gets better and better. This whole e mail is a riot–Judy at her best. How many subjects did we cover? Great pictures, great read

Pam says
Oh those pinchable cheecks!
Rosie Davis says
I love the baby pictures Judy but I think the first one is my favorite! What a darling little girl!
The picture of the boys made me giggle also because it reminded me of one of my 3 boys. Same look!

She is soooo cute! Thanks for sharing her with us!

Love that second picture especially! Teen girls are different from teen boys, I hear. I have no experience to back that up. =) Besides, grandma can always send them home!
Debi McIntosh says
cute photos Judy – the first pic is great. It’s true though – you never stop worrying about them. My kids live 12 hours away and I always worry!!
Diana Purdy says
What a little cutie! Just want to pinch those little cheeks! When’s your next Grammy fix?
Diana Purdy says

Oh it is so true! I was always thinking of them as BB’s when they were acting up. when I wanted to smack them I would hold them tight and pat thier heads…. as gently as I could… I would just die if I was called to a car fire bc my teen had a car accident. (one did have a bad car accident and was in the ER once You just cry and hold them closer)
enjoy the baby yrs and move farther way when they bcome teens.
Kim says
Can’t live with them ( without worrying your heart out) and can’t live without em!
In any event they are yours and you have to love them now :0).
I am in the same boat :0) HappySewing

She really is a beautiful little baby. I only have one grandchild, a girl. We’ve been buddies always and have had so much fun making quilts together since she was very young. She is 14 now and still just as sweet. I think you will love having a teenage granddaughter, they can be so very sweet. Enjoy that precious baby!
Denise :) says
What a precious, darling little girl! I know exactly what you mean — I hate being around when my two-and-a-half year old grandson runs headlong into some piece of furniture and puts a goose egg on his forehead!! 🙂
Linda Steller says
She is so cute! Remember, she won’t have all that testosterone coursing through her veins during her teenage years, so that time period will most likely be a bit more peaceful than the time you had with Chad! Men and boys do tend to get into so much trouble!
Suzanne in UT says
Babies remind us what is truely important…and they are much more pleasant to be around then your own kids…hahaha!
Brenda B. says
So cute, she is soo sweet – and what a lot of old memories. Seems like that all was just last year – how time flies, miss you all!
