How can the sky look like this . .
. . and then it just passes over and gets sunny again. Same thing last night. It seemed like we were sure to get rain, maybe even a storm. I was out in the sewing room late last night and could see lots of lightning in the distance so I unplugged the sewing machine and everything else that needed unplugging and went to the house. It wasn’t long before it was obvious that the rain was going around us and we weren’t going to get a drop. We so desperately need rain and I’m so hoping this is not going to be another summer with no rain.

we have looked like this all day in central Arkansas and no rain. I hope your do not have your drought continue, did the lake ever rise a little with the rain you had this winter and early spring?

It’s been doing that here too. So dry and the rain goes elsewhere.

We had the same weather today up here in Canada! Also a bit on the cold side.

We had 1.5″ a few hours north of you. Everything is so green and all the ponds and lakes are almost back to normal levels. At least we aren’t starting off summer dry like last year. Hope y’all get some soon. But your area isn’t known for abundant rainfall. Maybe this year will be the exception. Haven’t looked at the lake level there but it’s bound to have come up some.

We finally got a nice heavy rain for about 15 minutes this afternoon. Don’t know how much – not nearly enough but I did catch buckets of rain in everything I could get my hands on to water my flowers with later. I know they won’t make it all summer with just watering once a week but I’ll try as long as I can.

It was here! I live in Princeton, TX, about 40 miles NE of Dallas. A lovely, soft rain all day long.

Well we get plenty of rain. If we can just figure out how to get it down there???? I just got back from going across the state to earn some money for a retreat. Pilot Escorted a load home, for DH. Glad the Boss is in Hawaii because he has a curious way of giving all these loads to his trucks, imagine that! Anyway I was surprised to see all the snow over Snoqualime Pass. There were walls of it, the stuff on the side of the road is yuckky from Sand and Chemicals, but at the snow parks there was plenty of the white stuff:)
Hope you get some rain soon!!

We had 22.3 inches of rain in just March. We are very north coast in CA. We’ve have over 3 inches in April. We had been dry, but then here it came. So good luck getting some rain. We promise not to take it all.
