This is what I feared!
Guess where the chickens are now. Does the Millennium in the background give you any idea that they’ve moved into my sewing room? It was hard to keep the temp in their box at 95º while they were in the shop due to the changing temps in there so we decided to bring them into the sewing room and put them up on the table so Speck can’t get to them.
We moved them and then we held them and played with them a bit and then we went back to the house for dinner. When we came back to check on them . . they were all tuckered out!
They’re already getting little feathers on their wings! They’re just so cute!

they will start smelling like chickens in 3 weeks. We just moved ours to the front porch. They’re sooooo cute, though. Enjoy, I love my babies
Karen says
you must have to have a heater of some sort in there with them? 95 seems hot to me but to baby chicks I guess not. How long do they need to stay so warm?

Have any bonded with you yet? Or vice versa?

Too, too cute. Have picked out a Ruby II yet?
Linda in NE says
Somehow I knew they would end up in your sewing room. Their “coop” looks a lot like my “Christmas tree coffin.” 🙂 Thank heaven for Rubbermaid.

Very cute. Yes babies do need to keep warm. But they won’t be babies very long. They grow fast!
I sure miss my chickens. We had to give them away when we moved. someday we hope to have some again. they are great fun.

I guess I’ve missed alot – I’ve not been on the computer for about a week. I get on today and you now have chickens and cows. When did all of this happen – wow. I bet your excited about the chicks and the soon to come fresh eggs. We took Anthony to Plano, Tx the weekend before last to check out Souther Methodist University Computer Animation Masters program. What a beautiful area, but like you’ve said expensive. He’s got some big decisions to make.
