Border #4 is pieced. A total of 34 – 6″ blocks are needed. Make a variety of blocks. Don’t plan — don’t count.
The border blocks are 6″ finished/6-1/2″ unfinished. Use any combination that works for you but here are the sizes I used:
Center – 2-1/2″ squares
First Round:
Sides – 1-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Top & Bottom – 1-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
Second Round:
Sides – 1-1/2″ x 4-1/2″
Top & Bottom – 1-1/2″ x 6-1/2″.
