Just to prove that I have been doing something quilt related, here’s the back side of another recent finish for a customer. I love it when the quilting shows so nicely. Some of the quilting was done using navy so that stitching may be hard to see on the green backing fabric. I suppose I need to learn to do less quilting but the quilting makes the back side so pretty . . don’t you think!
Here’s a bit of a closer look while it’s hanging over the longarm.
I think she’ll be pleased!

Oh my Judy! that is so beautiful. I sure wouldn’t do less quilting though. I love it when quilts have a lot of quilting and yet haven’t been “over-quilted”. To me it’s always a shame to see quilts that have big open areas – just think of what could have been done.
Again – beautiful.

You did a fantastic job on the back of this quilt. When the back looks good, you know the front looks just as good. My motto: The piecer is responsible for the front looking good…..I’m responsible for the back looking good!!!

WOW Judy that is fantastic. I think she will be more then pleased with all that stitch in the ditch and feathers. I only wish I could quilt like that.
