This is embarassing . . but not enough to cause me to change my ways. I have a reason for needing a pair of socks as a gift. There’s probably no way I can get them done by the time I need them done but that didn’t stop me from starting them . . last night. No, my pooling socks aren’t going to be finished, neither is the hat that goes with the cowl for the second quarter challenge at The Loopy Ewe, nor is the third Cream & Sugar Cowl. Why finish something when I can start a new project, right?

Starting a new project is so much fun!!! I like that colorway! Don’t forget tomorrow Camp Loopy starts.

Aw don’t be embarrassed. Let’s go with the theory that you are starting stuff to keep it interesting for your loyal blog readers…..(I’m not sure I have any loyal blog readers, so I’m not sure what my excuse is!)

Really like the grey yarn. What is it, or is it one of those mystery yarns we all have?

Judy, I once started something as a gift and didn’t have time to finish it, so I boxed up all the parts, gave the gift and told the recipient I needed it all back so I could finish it. She gave me a dirty look at the time, but was delighted later when I presented her with the finished product.

That’s why I love you Judy! Although, through it all, you still accomplish a whole lot more than I do!
