This project was not on my list that I posted about the projects I would love to get completed but it’s one of them. It’s This is the Day by Plum Street. What’s one more finish? I know . . I’m dreaming but you never know what I might get done if I stay on track.
This is the picture from the chart:

For the most part, this is the project I work on when Debbie and I get together once a week and stitch from about 8 – 3. That’s so much fun and next to Chad, Nicole and Addie, that’s the main reason I want to move back to Nevada, MO. I think what I need to do is find Vince a friend there!

I had been only working on this one when I was with Debbie but during February, I think we missed two or three weeks of getting together and I didn’t work on this so I’ve worked on it the last two days. I wanted to get the mortar done between the bricks so I can sit and stitch bricks and fill in the roof, fill in the windows and finish the door when she and I are together and I won’t have to be counting. I have two more rows of mortar on the bottom of the left side, finish the window on the top of the left side, and a few sections of mortar to stitch on the top right side of the house between those four windows. I can easily get that done today then I’m going back to work on The Maker and Mender so I can get it finished by the end of March, which was my goal for that one.

That’s a whole lot of mortar to stitch – looking good! I have a brick house chart I’m going to be kitting up today so I will be stitching a lot of bricks too in the not-too-distant future.
