Goodbye 2023; hello 2024. I’m not even going to think very hard about what 2024 may bring but I’m planning on it being a good year with lots of stitching time.
I hope you all have a happy and safe New Year! You know what we’re doing . . NOTHING! Staying home. Hoping the neighbors’ fireworks aren’t too loud. This will be Cooper’s first New Year’s Eve so I have no idea how he will react to the noise. Oscar does surprisingly well but I can always tell that he’s not liking the noise.
I’m actually surprised that I finished 13 pieces in 2023. About this time last year, I thought I might could finish 23 pieces in 2023. Missed that goal, didn’t I? 🙂
Here’s what I did get finished in 2023. I’m hoping for more in 2024 but I’m not making any predictions.
1 – Deck the Halls
2. Day 1 of 12 Days of Christmas
4. Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas
5. Cottage Garden by Teresa Kogut
10. A Changed World
12. Wish You Were My Neighbor that I gave to my friend in Louisiana in July.
13. Mini Long Dogs.
That’s it . . time to move on and hope to have more finishes in 2024.

Good job! I finished 9 out of 21 pieces this year! Thanks to you and Jo I began cross stitching again with the Blessings SAL. I haven’t stopped since!! I’m enjoying using linen, which I never heard of before, ?
Thank you for being motivating in all you do! I’m very thankful for you, Judy. Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy and blessed New Year!

Thank you, Donna. That was such a sweet note. I’m so glad you got back into stitching. Can you imagine what life would be like without the stitching and the stitching friends – even if they’re online friends. I really am thankful for all of you.
