A neighbor brought over a few persimmons yesterday and I cut into one of the seeds.
I didn’t cut into the seed very well but I was working quickly and didn’t want to cut my finger off. Those seeds are not easy to cut into.
Same seed – different picture/background.
Options inside the seed are fork, spoon or knife. It’s definitely a spoon and it is supposed to mean lots of snow and that makes me happy!

That matches what I am hearing on the forecasts.

We go by woolly bear caterpillars down here. Yesterday I saw one that was black all the way down its back with orange down each side, instead of bands. I’ve never seen one like that before.

I saw one a week or so ago, which is the only one I’ve seen this year, and his middle third was orange, which I think means I may not get as much snow as I’m hoping. I have never seen one with bands of orange down each side. That’s weird. If you think about it, let me know how your winter turns out to be.
