That’s probably not exactly what Vince would say about this situation but . . that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 🙂
I don’t even know when it was . . a year ago, eight months ago . . sometime in there, Fox & Rabbit announced a fabric club where you could get a fat quarter or a fat half of fabric once a month. I saw it when it was announced, went to the web page, signed up and before hitting the “do it” button, had second thoughts about spending more money every month on a club. I think I was still in the Colour & Cotton Club and for sure still in the XJu Linen Club. So I deleted it all and walked away.
Then, people started showing the fabric they received in their monthly shipment and I was so sad I had not ordered it. The XJu fabric I get each month is really so exciting. I know . . I probably need more excitement in my life and it’s probably wrong to be so excited to open that package and see the fabric she’s dyed each month.
I got back on the Fox & Rabbit wait list and have waited and waited and waited. I think it’s a pretty extensive wait list.
Last week I had gone upstairs and made snacks for us. Addie was here. We ate our snacks (turnovers from the Mennonite grocery and Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!) and I went back downstairs. I decided to check email before starting back to cross stitching.
I’m a member of Fox & Rabbit’s Patreon group and they had just posted that there had been a few people who had dropped out of the fabric club over the last several months so they had room to accept 10 new club members. The first 10 people who posted that they wanted to do it were in. I was #5.
They offered 10 spots to patreon members and 20 spots to those on the waiting list. I am so happy to be in that club and can’t wait for my first package. I think I will get the November shipment, which will probably take til sometime in December (or even January depending on when in November they send it). It seems to take a while for packages to arrive from Australia but . . I don’t mind waiting.
I will continue to get XJu’s packages. Leo & Roxy floss club packages will start in December so that’s enough monthly surprises. Enough as far as Vince is concerned . . probably not enough for me if I had my way but I’m happy to get what I get.

I was one of those who, a month ago, got the mail for the waiting list but I thought about paying custom taxes (I’m in the EU) and that took me away of signing. Could I know how much do you pay in customs taxes for the F+R and the Xjude shipments?
