It’s almost 3 p.m. and I’m just now getting ready to start stitching.
Soup is made.
Bread is made.
I knew the dough was too big for the cast iron loaf pan and I figured the loaf wouldn’t be cool by the time we had soup and sandwiches so I pinched off enough of the dough to make two Hoagie-ish rolls for our sandwiches.
The plan was to make gumbo but I had that ham in the fridge that needed to be used and since it had a bone, I figured soup would be just as good as gumbo so we’ll probably have soup and sandwiches a couple of days next week.
Vince left about 2 to go back to town to go to the pallet store so I’m going to stitch til he gets here, then we’ll eat, then I’ll stitch some more!
