I’m so glad I changed projects. Not only was the color so different from what I’m used to stitching but the red fabric felt so limp and stretchy. I’m loving working on the current fabric.

Yesterday I got 8 letters stitched. I still have to go back and stitch the “S” between the R and the T. Including the S, I hope to get 9 letters stitched today and that will get through the J. Then, if I can do 9 letters on Thursday, that will be all the alphabet. There’s probably two days worth of trim stitching after the letters are done so . . this one should be an easy finish.
My plan is to stitch letters tomorrow and Thursday and if I’m done by the end of the day on Thursday, I’ll start Noel Sampler, which is the WIPGO project, on Friday – stitch that on Friday and Saturday, then Cranberry Christmas on Sunday.
If all goes according to the plan, I’ll come back to ABCD on Monday and stitch til it’s finished, then stitch through Saturday, the 12th, on Noel Sampler. February 11 – 13 is WIPGO weekend but my Sunday will be spent on Cranberry Christmas.
I love having a plan . . even though we all know I’ll probably get distracted.
With the weather we’re having, I should be doing nothing but stitching and cooking at least through this weekend.

I’m sorry you didn’t like the first project. One of my WIPGOs for this month is on a loose linen, but it is a small project so I’m hoping I can just muscle my way through it. We are supposed to get some bad weather tonight, but it is supposed to be clear by Friday. I don’t mind bad weather as much since I work from home and don’t have to worry about driving in it.

You’re making great progress on that! I’m wording on the border with En Blanc and am almost halfway around. Would be further along but I had to rip back several times because I kept messing it up! Haven’t have a chance to stitch today yet as we did get our fridge delivered! Can’t believe the amount of plastic that was attached to everything! Guess that’s how they keep it from getting damaged. Looking forward to loading everything in it.
