It was 2 p.m. before I got started stitching. After finishing Addie’s project, I wanted so badly to start something new.
Noel Sampler by Brenda Gervais has been calling my name but .. other things need to be finished and that is not on my list of things to start so, I am digging deep within myself to try to find a bit of self-discipline.
This is Thy Love Divine and it would be fairly easy to finish this one if I stuck with it. I think I put it aside because the bottom is done in the “rice stitch”, which I’ve never done and I’m a wimp when it comes to trying new stitches.
I can do it though . . so I’m going to work on this the rest of today. It won’t be finished and then tomorrow, I hope to get Addie’s pillow stitched and then work on my Sunday Stitch.

Love your progress there! I had to look up the rice stitch since I never heard of it. In the video I watched she showed one color and then two colors. Looking forward to seeing what color/colors you use when you get to it.

Now you have me wanting to start Stitching that Noel Sampler! I have just a couple rows left to finish the Noel Small I’m working on so why not follow that with a larger Noel project? Hmm I’ll have to pull that chart out and may or may not give in to that urge to start it.

It looks like it would go quickly but I am never right about those kinds of things.
