The two Aldi stores in Joplin are almost always crowded and I don’t enjoy shopping when there are so many people but the one in Pittsburg, KS hasn’t been as crowded when we go in there so I feel like I can check out new items without getting in other shoppers’ way.
We were there a couple of weeks ago and I got a package of chicken. It says “Panko Breaded Chicken Breast Tenderloin” and then, of course, it has other stuff added.
I don’t buy a lot of those pre-whatever type foods but I must have been hungry when we were in there. I figured it would be good for when Vince wanted something halfway decent and I wasn’t ready to cook. I actually had it on the menu for today because we had other things going on and I didn’t want to have the Cashew Chicken two days in a row but . . we had to eat something.
The chicken went into the air fryer, broccoli was steamed and I made hash brown potatoes with onions – real potatoes that I peeled and grated.
That chicken was delicious. We’ll be getting more of that. Highly recommend it for snacks or for a quick and easy meal.
