You may remember that I came up with a schedule for May’s stitching. I added April 30 to May so I’d have 32 days, came up with 8 projects and I will work on each for four days. Last night was the end of the the four days of working on Deux Oiseaux and here’s how far I got.
The weird/sad/crazy thing is that before I started this project, I actually kinda halfway thought I could finish it and start another one in four days. I did spend a lot of time during the weekend with Vince out working on the raised beds, or watching Vince work on the raised beds. Moral support is always good, right? I cooked a good bit. That makes me happy and we have to eat. So . . I stitch what I can stitch but I am a bit disappointed at my total disconnect when it comes to what I can reasonably get done.
Yesterday, May 4, began four days of working on Farmhouse Christmas. I got very little stitching done. It rained all day. You would think since I was inside all day I would have lots of stitching time. Vince was inside all day too! Need I say more? <G> Bless his heart! Last night he said “I think today is the first day since all this began that I have sat the entire day and done nothing.” He needed that. He worked his tail off for at least eight months getting the house in Texas ready to sell, stuff that we wouldn’t need here sold and getting things packed.
Today I hope to get a good bit of stitching done on Farmhouse Christmas.
