Late Breakfast or Early Lunch

Anniversary . . of Sorts!

It was almost 11 this morning when I finished getting the groceries put away and other “first of the day chores” done. I was hungry and had to decide if I wanted to heat up leftover chicken jambalaya and green beans or fix breakfast.

I chose breakfast! Egg bites that were frozen, guacamole, salsa, bacon, flour tortilla and jackfruit that Vince had cleaned last summer and was in the freezer.

Right now I’m kinda feeling like a nap. The weather man on the radio just said heavy rain and possibly thunderstorms tonight. It might be a good night to take Rita’s heat pad down and sleep in the basement. The bed down there has flannel sheets and they’ve been calling my name for several weeks. But . . I may not.

We have had fog and mist for two or more days! It has been around for so long, I lost track of how long it has been misting! The sun came out for about 3 minutes today! They are saying thunderstorms all night long for us then clear for several days. But still cold and windy.
