Yesterday we signed a contract on a new “to us” house. A lot can happen – it’s far from a done deal so I’m trying to temper my excitement.
I will say that it has the most amazing kitchen. When looking at houses, I have a set number of kitchen cabinets that I say will be acceptable and this kitchen has almost twice that many. There are two separate ovens. The not so great thing is that it has a glass top stove but it will be easy to run a gas line and remedy that little problem.
It isn’t in the country but it isn’t in the city limits. It sits on one acre and there is trash pick up. I am going to love that.
That’s enough for now. I don’t want to jinx this deal. I’ll keep you posted.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I hope the ground is good for gardening. I’m sure you would appreciate not having to fight the dirt to grow things…like okra! 🙂
Judy Laquidara says
I doubt there’ll be much gardening there. It isn’t fenced and it’s only an acre and there’s already a lot of landscaping, trees and house footprint. We’ll see what happens.
