Yesterday I worked a bit more on my brother-in-law’s socks. If he’s going to wear them this winter, I need to step it up. He lives in New York and I’m sure he could be appreciating warm socks already.
This sock yarn is a bit thicker than fingering weight so I’ve gone up to a 2.50 mm needle, where I usually use a 2.25 mm for socks. I’ve gone through four different sets of needles already and still am not happy with any of them. I ordered a set that should be here Tuesday. I can keep working on them but the needles I’m using are a bit short (the cables) so once I get to the heel flap, I’ll probably stop and wait for the new needles.
