Gray Sweater Progress

Or . . first graders!

Today was breakfast with grandparents at school. They always have papers they’ve written and drawn about their grandparents.

Vince and I are on the ends, Nicole’s parents are on either side of Addie. Nicole’s parents were there too and we were going through all the papers. I tried not to crack up when I saw this picture. Everyone has a small and open, welcoming arms . . except Vince. He has a big old frown and Addie said his arms are in his pockets but it looks like he has no arms at all.

I told Vince and he said . . what you see is what you get! And now . . you know why his grandpa name is “Grumps”.

I like the grandfathers’ hair, and I think Addie is wearing her unicorn sweater!
