Bronwyn Pullover

Bronwyn is a pullover with lots of cables and lots of texture and I love it.

I bought the pattern in early 2018 and started it using Blue Moon’s Targhee Worsted. After just a bit of knitting, I wasn’t sure the targhee worsted is what I wanted for this project so it’s been hibernating.

Last week during ESK’s yardage boost, I bought Blue Sky’s Woolstok in Green Meadow and Pressed Grapes. I may have written about it but there wasn’t enough of the Green Meadow, or maybe there is but it would be close enough to make me worry the whole time that I might run out. I wasn’t sure if the Pressed Grapes might be too dark and the texture/cables might not show up.

I think the Pressed Grapes will work and is probably a better color for me, and, I have plenty of that (I think). Woolstok is actually classed as a DK weight yarn. The pattern calls for worsted weight but some people say it works up to a worsted weight so . . swatch time!

It will be a pretty color for the sweater. Either one would be, but I do like the grape one better.
