A Few More Pictures

Addie’s Socks

Yesterday Addie kept wanting me to take pictures of her. Maybe she thinks I’ll forget who she is while I’m away.

We were getting ready to go eat and she was all dressed up . . in clothes she chose for herself and make up she applied herself. I must say her lipstick is looking a heck of a lot better than it did several months ago after she put it on.

Just before dark she wanted to go swing and have me take a picture.

I can’t wait to come back and see her/them. But, you all know that already!

Great pictures!! Chads cooking is wonderful! Addie is so adventurous and enjoys life a twinkle in her eyes always! Her parents and family have set the stage for her to have a wonderful life! She is just as pretty as her mom! Love seeing her grow up as we did with Chad!!! Glad your home safe Judy!!!

She makes me smile. Also how you handle situations. Especially the one where you explained to her that you are coming back soon and you won’t forget her. I envy how granny talks to her as an adult yet is consistant. I know you will treasure your relationship with Addie.

Addie looks so much like her mom in the picture on the swing.
I am glad you showed me the make up pictures of Addie. I have one granddaughter who lives in Tennessee and one who lives in Oregon and both are 6 like Addie. My Tennessee granddaughter got make up for Christmas and I thought WHAT? My granddaughter here is so NOT interested in it.
So I am guessing southern girls just like make up earlier. That being said by a grandmother, me, who forgets to even put on lipstick most days of the week, never mind make up. I’m thinking the 2 years I lived in South Carolina never did change me much.

I agree with Kathy, Addie look so much like her mom on that swing. Glad you are home safe and I’m sure Vince is happy to have you back.

I love the pictures and the fact she is still wearing her “wedding dress”. She loves you so much, she doesn’t want you to forget her. Sweet little girl. Growing up way too soon!

Fancy dress and cowgirl boots! That girl belongs in Texas! LOL I love the swing picture so much. It looks so natural and so joyful. That’s a keeper – a blow it up and frame it photo.
