Slow Curves is Done!

Except for weaving in the ends and blocking, Slow Curves is done and I met the end of August deadline with a few days to spare.

Slow Curves

I will post one more picture after it’s blocked.

The yarn is all Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light. Starting with the lightest yellow and going to the dark blue, the colors are Daisy, Harvest, Jaded Dreams and Snake. I love the colors individually. I love them together and I love how well they represent my life right now. Speaking of that . . did I tell you Vince killed a second rattlesnake on Sunday? Ughh . . it’s the snakes and grass burrs that are going to send me out of Texas. Well, that and a little 6 year old darling in Missouri!  🙂

Here’s my project page.

I found the pattern to be very, very easy. It was a project I could do while talking, visiting, watching TV . . not a whole lot of thinking or counting required. It was easy to the point of being a bit boring, especially after those rows got so long. I need just a bit more challenge to keep me interested but I wanted to finish this and needed a project I could pick up, put down, and find my place and get going again while visiting Chad, Nicole and Addie for two weeks out of the four weeks in August so this turned out to be a great project.

I love it. I wasn’t sure I would since these colors were originally chosen for a different project but I don’t believe I could have chosen colors I liked any better had I been picking colors for this particular project.

This has turned out to be one of my favorite projects but . . I say that every time, don’t I? And, any pattern by Joji Locatelli is always going to be a great one.

I think it is my favorite! And I don’t always say that! Anxious for you to get it blocked. I really like this one. Sorry to hear of another snake. Neither of us could live with that!

My daughter killed a copper head snake here last night. Do not like the not good snakes.

It is pretty now but will be beautiful when blocked. Love the colors and I am not a yellow person but love it with the other colors.
