This is my final project for the Junior year at Loopy Academy. I got my first two projects finished right off the bat – an Ombre Quintet and Reverse Psychology. Those two were harder for me so I did them first. I don’t usually wait til the last minute to meet deadlines and really, I still have plenty of time. The first Tallulah I made was for my friend’s granddaughter and I made it . . start to finish . . in 7 days and oddly enough, I just looked up the project and finished it one year ago today. Funny.
The project has not been soaked and blocked. It will look smoother and lay flatter once it’s blocked. The buttons . . one minute I think they’re perfect and the next minute, I promise myself I’ll replace them as soon as I can find different buttons. The requirements for this project was to use at least 250 yards and include buttons and buttonholes. I had to find buttons in our small town. Walmart no longer carries buttons so that left our tiny little sewing shop and . . that’s what I found. They’re actually kinda pearlized and have a pink tint. I think Addie would like them. I plan to make a dress for her and if I could find the perfect pink/white polkadot fabric, I’d probably keep the buttons. Who knows??
What matters is it’s finished and submitted and I can move on to the next project.

It’s cute as can be and she is going to love those buttons. Don’t worry about that. And as far as a dress to go with the sweater, I think anything with pink and white will be perfect. Heck, knowing how kids are, this will be her new favorite and she’ll wear it with everything, even her pajamas! Good job Granny!
