Some of you seemed a bit amused that we were re-setting our numbers but for 8 or so years, we’ve been doing stash reports and we always start over at the first of the year. The only thing different is I just didn’t count the yarn that came in this past week because . . well, I just didn’t want to! 🙂 It was all yarn purchased in 2016 and I didn’t want to start out in the hole. It may or may not be cheating but that’s how I’m doing it.
I’m feeling really good about 2017. I joined a Ravelry group that’s all about using the stash and not buying and I’m feeling good and enthusiastic about it. We’ll see. Part of getting ready for the new year, I’ve been trying to organize the yarn. There’s way too much! I love it all .. well, there were a few skeins I don’t love and I have those in a bag to donate. It’s not enough to make a difference but I’m looking forward to seeing what I do in 2017.
So . . here’s my clean and shiny blank slate as far as the stash report goes.
Last year I used 3 yards of fabric. Horrible. I definitely hope to do better this year.
Fabric Used this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Used year to Date: 0 yards
Fabric Added this Week: 0 yards
Fabric Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Net Fabric for 2017: 0 yards used
As far as yarn . . well, you know how last year went. I hope to buy very little yarn this year. I will buy for Loopy Academy and maybe a bit here and there but not a lot like I’ve done in previous years. Oh, I hope I really do that!
Yarn Used (or removed) this Week: 0 yards
Yarn Used year to Date: 0 yards
Yarn Added this Week: 0 yards
Yarn Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Net Yarn for 2017: 0 yards
Anyone else want to post a stash report . . even though it’s probably only going to show nothing in and nothing out?

LOL! I posted my final stash report yesterday morning . . . and then went out unexpectantly yesterday afternoon and purchased some more. But it doesn’t go on 2017’s report and it’s too late to add it to 2016’s final, so it’s just in the black stash hole. Until I *use* it, that is! I thought that was well played!! Happy New Year, Judy! 🙂

I posted my end of the year stash report! Those black holes of time just feel untidy to me! 😉

It may be a bit amusing, but it’s good to start on the very first day of the year with a big fat ZERO across the board 🙂 Happy New Year!

I agree, resetting to zero for the new year is the way to go. Thanks for hosting the stash report for another year.

What you’ve donated may not make a difference in your overall stash but I’m guessing it will make a big difference to someone else!
I would have done the same thing with my stash report if I was tracking stash! 🙂
