This is the pork chop recipe I was looking for when I saw the tapioca pudding recipe. I’ve made this recipe several times. It’s so easy and so delicious. It’s so good that I now double it so we’ll have enough leftovers for another dinner, and a lunch.
I like a thinner gravy so I don’t do anything to thicken it. When I take the pork chops out from being browned, I add one sliced onion and brown it a bit, then I pour in a bit of white wine, then follow the recipe. It is so good! And so easy!
And . . I love rice and gravy!

Judy, I am assuming you do not use the potatoes that they call for in this recipe? Also, how long in the pressure cooker vs the slow cooker? thanks

I think we may be talking about two different recipes because the one I’m using doesn’t call for potatoes and I cook it just like it suggests in the recipe but it doesn’t mention slow cooker.

Yes you are right. I clicked on an ad recipe for maple pork chops that I thought was what you were talking about. The ad appeared at just the right place. Now I see the correct link and got that. Sorry

No problem but you had me thinking “potatoes?” How on earth did I miss that ingredient! 🙂

Had to press my pressure cooker into emergency service last night when I found everything in my big freezer in some state of thawed! Had a pork roast and salmon in the oven, boneless ribs in the slow cooker, bratwurst on the stove top and pot roasts in the pressure cooker! Sure was nice to have them cooked in 30 minutes! Two of my daughters came over and took some meat home to cook so I could get to bed at a decent hour! Going to try rice pudding in the pressure cooker today while it is still out and I have to use up the milk! So, guess it is back to the kitchen with me!
