Warning: If you have been resisting purchasing the pressure cooker, but know you want it . . read no farther or you will grab your credit card, go straight to Amazon and buy it!
Before someone asks, this is the Cuisinart Pressure Cooker I’m using (and loving). This is another similar pot but it does several things (slow cooks, rice cooker, steamer). I do not have the second pot but am sharing the link because those who have it like it too. I generally don’t buy an appliance that performs multiple tasks because I figure one specialty is enough but the Instant Pot rates good. These are the two pans I bought to use with it: Fat Daddio’s 7″ cheesecake pan with removable bottom and a regular (Browne’s) Spring Form Pan.
It was so easy to make. 15 minutes on high pressure, then the cooling time. I love that it’s smaller so we don’t have to eat cheesecake for the next month.
We will definitely make this recipe again!

Judy I have the Nesco Electric Pressure cooker….what cookbook are you using? I’ve only done simple beef stew, and a roast I shredded for tacos. It would be nice to use it for more interesting meals, especially if they are quick and tasty. Thanks for any tips that will help liven up our meal time!

I’m just using recipes I’ve found on the internet. There are links to all the ones I’ve tried so far.

So you set the pans inside the pressure cooker and bake things under pressure? Am I understanding correctly? I didn’t know that was possible!! Cool!!

oh you are killing me here – I saw this today at Costco for $69.99 – its listed at $89.99 on their website… gonna have to go back and get one!

Are you telling us you now have two electric pressure cookers?—or are you suggesting the spring form cake pans? Confused as I just ordered the electric Cusinart pressure cooker. Oh well, don’t think I need two electric pressure cookers plus my stove top pressure cooker….do I?

I forgot to say that Cheesecake looks scrumptious!

REALLY?! Why would you NOT want to eat cheesecake for a month?! I could eat it every day (though the scale would not be happy!! LOL).
Bev Gunn says
I am with you on the cheesecake for a month! How about a different flavor every other day??
Dottie N. says
WOW – didn’t realize you could bake a cheesecake in the pressure cooker!!

I have had a pressure cooker for three years. My favorite dish is Pork Verde. Mine came with a springform pan and I have made several cheesecakes. They have been delicious and oh so creamy.

Thanks for reviewing this pressure cooker. I’ve always wanted to try one, but been afraid of them. I finally took the plunge and ordered one. Does the cooker come with clear instructions on things like how to brown before pressure cooking?

Okay, got the multifunction one on order with 2 cook books! So, since I will be off work and not able to drive due to foot surgery, it should make life a bit easier!
