The guys were here yesterday working on the greenhouse. I think it’s now ready for the concrete to be poured but I thought that last week too. According to Vince, the concrete truck will be here Monday. It was quite warm yesterday and the guys worked hard.

Rita, like any good supervisor, stayed out of their way and kept a watchful eye on their progress. Mostly, she made sure she had Vince in her sights at all times.

And, like a good supervisor, after lunch, she needed a nap.

It wasn’t long though til she was back outside making sure Vince was fine.

I think this picture was taken about quitting time. Vince has a little more work today today and they’re going to pour concrete around a water tank so he has to get all that ready before the concrete truck comes tomorrow.

As for me . . I hope to be knitting today.

I do so enjoy the stories that you share about the little animals in your family! That little supervisor Rita is just the cutest! I’ve always thought dogs especially are a good judge of character ~ somehow they just instinctively know! Rita certainly couldn’t have picked a better family & home for herself!!
