This is a sweater I’ve been looking at on Ravelry for several months.
The pattern is called 3 in 1 and it has great ratings and comments. There’s something about it that makes me really love it and if you click on the pattern link, and then projects, you can see how it looks in many different colors. It can be made with fingering weight or sport weight yarn. Therein lies my hangup.
Typically, I do not like sweaters made with fingering weight yarn but I have enough fingering weight yarn around here to make enough of these sweaters for half the country. The temptation is great to order yarn in sport weight yarn but I think since I have so much fingering weight, I’m going to take the leap and try using some of it for this project. Some of my favorites in the projects are made with Wollmeise Twin and I’m guessing I can come up with an acceptable combination that will work.
Here are links to some of the color combinations I love!

What do you think about this pattern? I would shorten the sleeves a little. I don’t mind them being some bit too long but I think these might be a bit long for my taste but otherwise, I really like this pattern.

Since I don’t belong to Ravelry I can’t see pictures of better colors.
I agree, the sleeves are way too long. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how yours turns out before I decide if I like it or not!!
Your knitting is absolutely amazing, and I would be willing to put money on it that it will be very pretty!

Love the pattern, but I’m not in love with fingerling for a sweater either…..sleeves are way too long for me especially since I have short arms…..sleeves that long make me look like I have no hands….LOL…..

yep, i’d just make regular slieves and save the extra yarn to make a pair of fingerless gloves. same look, more versitility!

I like Rainghirl’s Zebra colorway the best of the four choices. Although I saw a couple that had purple and green that made me think of you and your Loopy yarn colorway.

I’m too menopausal for sweaters, if I could just be cold here in Minnesota I would like that one. When it hits I have to get as close to naked as soon as possible. Over the head sweaters are not fast enough!!

I like the 2nd and 4th colorways. The style looks cute and I know whatever color you choose will look good. Can’t wait to see what you choose from your stash.

Someone made that in my Loopy challenge and it was adorable. I love it but don’t think I have enough skills yet to make it.
