Robie Street is on my needles. This is a pattern I was testing for Laura Aylor and she released it yesterday. Through September 3, it’s on sale for $3.60. You can’t beat that price! Laura’s patterns are so well written and easy for me to follow.
I have to finish the bottom ribbing, do the fronts/neck ribbing and finish the sleeves (they’re elbow length) so there’s a chance Icould finish it today . . slim chance but it’s “today” til midnight, right? Then it will get blocked and I will decide if I’m going to go with a button at the top . . or not.
This pattern is long (I made mine 1″ shorter), with nice pockets and just enough waist shaping to give it a flattering feminine feel. Lots of stockinette so it was pretty mindless. The recommended yarn weight is sport and I’m real tempted to make another one. With the elbow length sleeves, this is so perfect for our short, mild winters.
The yarn I used is Madelinetosh Pashmina in Dr. Zhivago’s Sky.

You do a lot of test knits for her, don’t you? I’m anxious to see the directions for Exit O!
