Why is it that we want what we can’t get? Am I the only one who feels that way? Tell me I’m not!
Lately, every single pattern I’ve looked at on Ravelry suggests yarn from The Plucky Knitter. So, then, I say to myself . . I’ll just order some Plucky yarn!
They have a ton of yarn! Two pages on the Ravelry yarn page. All of it is rated 5 stars. People who get it LOVE it. It’s gorgeous. I’ve seen pictures. I can almost reach out through the internet and touch it and see how good it feels and seeing all the projects made with the yarn makes me want some . . now!
But, for me at least, it seems impossible to get. They post on their website/blog when they’re going to be having an update. As I understand it, you get there at the appointed time, place your order, then they dye the yarn according to order and ship it to you at some future date.
The first problem I have is that I never seem to remember to go to their blog at the appointed time and second, I never know what I want to make so I don’t know how much yarn to order.
I think I’m going to start a list . . what I want to make, how much yarn I need and what weight. I usually do that before Eat, Sleep, Knit‘s Black Friday sale so I guess I can just make my list early and try to catch a Plucky update.
My heart is set on getting some Plucky yarn . . I’m going to figure this out!

Is it intervention time? If so send them to me. I bought way too much baby yarn the other day. After two surgeries in a row I think you deserve whatever you want. I think a spider on my chair and a snake on my porch and I’d be ready to bloom elsewhere. I think it’s time to move closer to Chad. You and Nicole could knit and cook and garden together. Then there’s the sweet grand daughter. Is it possible that Vince could transfers back there? I know how much you would love that and you could really bloom there.

Uh oh, I thought you were cured..guess NOT!!! HAHA But at least we know you’re feeling better if you’re hatching a plan for more yarn.

You can get it if you watch the clock a bit. The Bello is harder to get than the Primo. When she offers the cashmere, it goes pretty quick too. I love her photography. It’s HARD not to fall in love with each and every colorway.

I managed to get some during an update several years ago and also by joining one of her yarn clubs. The yarn is nice, but not enough for me to go through all the hoops to get it during an update. Plus I didn’t like having to wait almost a month to get my order. Things may be different now, but I’m still going to stay away. La la la la la la, I can’t hear you. ;0)
