Boots loves sitting in the deep windowsills in the sewing room. I’m so glad we decided to build them like that, even though, at the time we built that room, we had no idea there would ever be a cat living in there.
These photos were taken through the back window, which is kinda dirty! 🙁
To the right is the garden.
To the left is the woods with the implement shed in the middle.
You can see that in the areas where we don’t irrigate, there’s not much green but, believe it or not, it’s a whole lot greener this year than it has been in previous years. I see pictures from Louisiana with lots of green grass and I yearn to live where I can walk through cool grass barefooted . . without sand spurs, scorpions and rattlesnakes but for now, I’m blooming where I’m planted.

Still such a nice view. No neighbors! Sometimes I just wish mine would all go away, especially when they leave their poor little dog out in the heat by himself for hours. There’s a lot to be said for solitude. 😉

Boots and you have a nice view outdoors—I think you have longing to be home in Louisiana and the green, green grass of home…..
