This week, I’ve been sitting and knitting more than usual but I’ve also been sitting and digging through Ravelry more than usual so I’ve come up with, what I think, are some amazing patterns I want to make . . some day! 🙂
You know I love Laura Aylor’s designs and she has this new, on sale for a few days, Rumple Scrap. It looks like something I could work in the car or while chatting with Vince . . not having to pay a whole lot of attention and it’s also good for leftovers. I almost always end up ordering an extra skein of yarn just so I don’t run out and have to re-order and hope for a dye lot match.
Joji Locatelli is also a favorite and some of her designs that have been around for a while but
This one is a hoodie cardigan and I love the back! Everyone says it’s a really fun and quick pattern to make. It’s Jenica Hoodie.
Another of Joji’s patterns that I’ve added to my library is Lipsick. I love what Lilalu did to make hers a jumper instead of a cardigan.
Flaming Hat looks like a fun pattern. Anyone thinking of Christmas gifts? This one and Laura’s new Rumple Scrap scarf. I think those could be made using matching yarns for a set and wouldn’t that be nice? 🙂
A blogging friend, Erin, sent me a link to a few patterns and I loved this one . . Dunlow. A while back I had ordered yarn to make Wanderling and then decided it might not be the yarn I wanted for Wanderling. The yarn I had bought for Wanderling is perfect for Dunlow so I moved that yarn over from one project to another and will decide on another yarn for Wanderling. I’m leaning towards Madelinetosh Sport in a new color they have, Dachshund. How perfect would that be since I’m a doxie lover?
Time to stop browsing and get busy knitting . .

I have passed up Wanderling many times, justifying because I don’t now if I can do the cables, but it just keeps popping up in my chats, searches, etc, and I am always drawn to it. Well, yesterday, someone in my Madelinetosh group posted her FO and I could no longer stand it and put it in my library. It is such a beautiful sweater. Here’s crossing my fingers that I will be good at cables.

The pattern of the doll sweater / overalls came in today’s newsletter. If you sign up you can get several free patterns for 18″ dolls. I love this sweater pattern. What do you think? I’d love to have one in my size to wear!!
