Two projects are going on at the same time and I am loving both of them. I could kick myself though . . yesterday I thought about taking pictures of both projects during the day when the lighting was better but then decided I could get more done on them.
On the first, one, Nicole’s Blue Sand, at 1:00 a.m., I realized there was no hope of getting the ribbing all done and therefore, I have a big jumbled up glob of yarn that, due to so many stitches on the circular needles, I couldn’t straighten out enough to show you. I’m so proud of my progress and I wanted to share! 🙁
What I can share are pictures of the pockets. I was worried about them but they were a piece of cake. The lining is striped.
When the sweater is being worn, this is how it will look.
But if the pocket flares open a little, this is what you will see:
This is going to be the cutest sweater! There’s a whole lot of knitting in this one but it’s fun and I can’t wait to start on one for myself.
And, put on the sunglasses! Here’s my Kynance Cove. Again . . I could kick myself. Vince wanted to run to town so I grabbed my knitting and stopped in the middle of a row and didn’t realize it til after 1 a.m. when it was time to take a picture and then I was too tired to finish the row so . . once again, you see a jumbled up mess of yarn.
I think you can tell that this is one bright sweater. Folks will see me coming . . that’s for sure! Hey, the name of our little ranch is Yellow Jacket Ranch so I can be the mascot! 🙂
I absolutely love it. The lime green is really more lime than it looks in the picture and it just makes me smile. How often is it that you get to knit two projects at about the same time and you absolutely love both of them?

You’re almost done with Nicole’s BlueSand. The pocket turned out great. Yes, that is one bright sweater, but I like it. When I saw the picture of your yarn choice I wasn’t so sure, but seeing it knit up, it looks great!

The pocket on Nicole’s sweater is so much fun! Great idea to line it with striped knitting. I like bright, so love your sweater.
