This is where I am with this quilt . . the center of the top is done.
My plan for today: Get the borders on and be done with the top! And when I get done with the top, I can add 9-3/4 yards as used to next week’s stash report! I doubt I get all the borders on today and this is probably the least sewing time I’ll have for a few days so I’m sewing 13as much as I can today.

What a pretty top!!
Still working on NY Beauty from Linda Hahn’s class I took at Vermont Quilt Fest. All paper pieced arcs are completed, have heavily starched background squares so they’re ready to cut with templates. Looks like tomorrow I’ll be able to start the background curved piecing. Liking this a lot more than I’d thought before the class. Had always said I’d NEVER do curved piecing!! LOL

I love the crisp look of the blue/red and yellow on the white background. It just pops and makes all those points stand out.

I’m lovin’ it. Do you really think you’ll get the top finished tonight? When will Addie be there? You won’t get anywhere near your sewing room when she shows up. That will be the last thing on your mind. I wish I could see her with the baby chicks. That is going to be priceless.

I really like this quilt — both the design and the colors. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when you get the borders on!

Looking good! I’m finishing up the cigarette smoke quilt (I managed to get the stink out before I loaded it). I sewed for two days (Friday and Saturday) with friends, so I got a very ugly top made for a client out of some embroidery blocks that were made by someone dear to them. They just wanted a top put together and then quilted to the pre-quilted fabric they brought me. I have GOT TO learn to say NO! Once the cig quilt is off, I’ll slap the ugly embroidered ducks on and be done!
