My husband should be walking through the door any minute now and he should be a very happy husband!
Warm bread just out of the oven and the pizza crust is on its first rise.
The sauce has simmered til it’s almost done. I think the pizza tonight will be ground beef, onion and Canadian bacon. Why those three toppings? That’s what we have on hand.
As much as I’ve always wanted a gas stove and now I have it and yes, I’m happy with it but I really want to replace this one and get a convection oven and the fifth burner model. I haven’t mentioned that to anyone so please don’t tell Vince I’m thinking about doing that! The reason I’m waiting is because we keep talking about either adding on and making the kitchen larger and adding a garage . . not because of rain but to keep the dust off the cars or . . building a complete separate kitchen/dining area . . completely separate from the house. The second option is what I prefer but we just can’t figure out where we would do it. I’d like to do it by the sewing room but Vince wants to do it closer to the house. We’ll see . .

Attach the “new kitchen/dining area” to the house and sewing studio. Then you will not need to worry about walking in the rain, dark etc. I really don’t know what would be betting in your situation, but I know I would be more apt to transverse between the two areas if it were enclosed.

Oooooo, if you put kitchen and dining in a separate building, you could make it just a bit bigger and have a guest house for extra income when you are older!

Or you could make the addition with a bathroom and a bunkhouse and your big kitchen so that you could have QUILT RETREATS at your place!!!! I am signing up for that retreat :)…especially if you are going to feed us all Pizza..yummmmy. It’s a way to finance your retirement!!! LOL (retirement?) Perhaps while quilting there we could take a break and help weed the garden?? A working retreat, kinda like what you get at a “dude ranch” ROFLOL
Seriously though…you really need a place for the retreats 🙂 I think you would have nooooo trouble filling up the beds!!!
