Hi Judy, I’ve been missing you while we were on holiday! That’s a stunning centre block — love the colours, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just beautiful Judy. The points on the centre block show what a true quilting pro you are! This is going to be one fabulous quilt. I can’t wait to see it taking shape!

Hey I posted my link this week without screwing it up and getting it in the wrong section! Woohoo! LOL

I just finished sewing on the borders that I posted in my “Design Floor Monday”, having been up half the night.

Judy, this quilt you’re making is going to be absolutely stunning! How do you piece so perfectly? I’m in awe!

I don’t piece perfectly. It looks better in photos! But those old Singer 301 machines make such perfect, straight stitches that I’ll give them credit for anything that looks halfway decent.

I’m pretty sure it’s the piecer. LOL

Your border is absolutely perfect for the quilt. It’s beautiful, keep it.

I’m almost convinced to try paper piecing – that is how you make that gorgeous middle block, right? I’m thinking of making this quilt in night garden colours – black, light purple, with some beautiful pastel floral prints that I’ve been holding onto for a long time. This quilt is stunning.

I love your paper piecing block, I do that method occasionally although it is not something I am great at.

I didn’t connect right when I tried it the first time – sorry so I am listed twice on your list. The first one goes to Amy’s quilt festival – I guess Mr. Linky had it saved and I didn’t notice – sorry. The second time is from what I worked on last night.

I love the quilt you are working on but I am looking forward to the pink and green one too. I added about 362 triangles to my madness quilt this week. I am now finished with the triangles! Just a plain border to add.

Judy, that is a lovely center for your quilt. I can’t wait to see it as it grows.

I think I put the link in right this time. Thanks for letting me know how it works Judy.

I love your center medallion. I’ve never paper pieced and am in awe of those that can.

I love your Celebration of Freedom quilt, and your center looks smashing. I’ve ended up in the wrong linking box a couple of times, and decided it’s when I try to tab from one field to the next, it tabs me down to your next Mr. Linky. Might be helpful info for anyone who’s ending up in the wrong box. Then again, it might be just me!

So what I’m saying is, don’t tab from field to field. If you’re entering your name, don’t tab to the URL field. Instead, click in the URL field to move your cursor there.

I’m not quite sure I understand the problem you’re having but if you need my help, holler at me please.

Love your center piece! Following your farbic choice issue, I am not sure where to begin with mine… Guess that’s the difference between the PRO (=you ๐Ÿ˜‰ and the weekend warrier (= me ;o )…

I’m so looking forward to Celebration of Freedom!! I may have missed it, but I’m wondering if you have posted the fabric requirements since redesigning the border. I have pulled my fabrics and want to make sure I have enough.

The instructions I will be sharing are mostly guidelines . . not exact instructions and I’m not including the border for this one.

I think I need a “What’s on Your Design Bed”. I have a guest room with a queen bed that serves as my design wall, the one in my actual sewing room kind of multi-tasks!
Absolutely LOVE the center star for this quilt, it is really spectacular. Will enjoy watching it come together!

I like the center block also. Even though I don’t really like to Paper piece. Glad you got something on your WALL this week. I can finally show the project I’ve been holding out to show this week. Hope you all like it.

I finally decided to show my design wall today. It is late as today is Wednesday so maybe no one will see it. At least I tried.
