This was a good week! Nothing in and 21-1/4 yards were used. Pretend that on 3/29 I used .75 yards instead of .74 yards. That’s a typo and I’ll fix next time I’m in the spreadsheet . . if I remember. I can still make my goal for 2010 but only if I don’t buy fabric at Paducah later this month. Oh . . can I do it?? Time will tell!
Used this Week: 21.25 yards
Used year to Date: 218.7.5 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 36 yards
Net Used for 2010: 182.75 yards
Here’s a list of what I worked on:
Please share your stash report!

You are going great with the busting Judy. I am looking forward to see what your goal for 2010 is.

Great job!

You’re doing great. You won’t have any problems at Paducah. I heard they banned fabric in the vendor booths this year. ;0)

I’ve seen you at a quilt show – you have SO much control! Need to take lessons from you! You’ll hit your goal and then some!

I need to do this…and I need to start soon. I need to read back through your blog and figure out how to get started. Thank you for your inspiration, I have admired you for doing this now it’s time to get started for real!

I’m having a blast keeping track of my stash use. I don’t have a huge stash (I do envy those that do) but it’s fun to see what I’ve used, how much I’ve bought and I’m keeping track of how much I’ve spent.
If I went to Paducah, I’d need a semi to bring home what I bought, but I’d have to win the lottery first. 😉

You are still my ‘stash busting hero’!!
I have no clue how you do it, but I am always in awe when I see your numbers. It makes me not want to post, but here I am again. Haven’t missed a stash report yet since I started at the beginning of this year. Thanks so much for hosting it and inspiring us all! Happy Easter!

You are doing great! Your ‘used’ numbers look like my ‘added’ numbers and vice versa, so you know I am not going in quite the same direction! 🙂

I am really thrilled with the stash busting concept. Thanks so much for getting me going – I love seeing the numbers used by everyone! The difference in my sewing room is incredible – I can see the floor. And when I go to the quilt shops I am become very conservative. No more buying because “it’s pretty”. I have to have an immediate use for the fabric or it stays! So, I have more floor space, more completed items, and more dollars — to buy sock yarn!!! Have a great week!

Congraulations on another good week! Could we see the placemats that you made??

Judy, Great week for you again. Mine was a bit better than last week.
Fabric bought – none
Fabric used – 5 yards – a backing
Fabric bought YTD – 8.25
Fabric Used YTD – 37.04
Still going in the right direction, just slowly. 🙂 🙂

I have to say that this whole concept of tracking fabric usage has taken all the fun out of my impulse buys. I don’t want to have to add new yardage to my spreadsheet, so it really stops me buying. Which is good……. I suppose. I can just see me losing control at the end of the year and really going mad. Didn’t something like that happen to you last year Judy? One hundred and mumblety yards or something? It’ll me be this time, I’m sure of it.

You did great this month.
