Just this morning I was thinking about how much I do not need any more charts and then . . I got the newsletter from Kitten Stitcher. She designed This LAND and has it available as a printed chart and as a PDF.
I jumped on the PDF, have it downloaded and set up in MarkUp. It’s small and should be a quick stitch. It’s 125 x 101. On 40 count it would be 6.5″ x 5″ and on 36 count, it would be 7 x 5-5/8″. I love the way she finished it to make it fit into a frame. Most of us are quilters and have plenty of fabric.
Here it is all loaded into MarkUp. Of course, the photo is much better on Kitten Stitcher’s site.

As soon as I finish the current project I’m going to start this one. Anyone want to stitch with me? Don’t worry . . I probably won’t even finish it in time for Independence Day, 2025!
I’m going to choose a frame, then decide if I want to stitch it on 36 or 40 count. Heck, I might even stitch it on 32 count and use Flower floss. There’s three different greens so I don’t know that I could find three that go well together on Flower floss. But, I will choose the frame, then the fabric for finishing, then pick the floss that goes with the red/blue fabric! Hopefully, everything will come from the stash – even the frame!!

Judy, love this piece for the 4th of July. This is a good time to find some patriotic red and blue for framing the piece. All you need is 1/4 yrd of each. Can’t wait to see this finished! Have fun with it!

I should have some but I’ve given away almost all my red, white and blue fabric to people making QOVs or other quilts for service members.
