With Oscar at the vet today, I was expecting Cooper to be a little nervous and looking for Oscar. I think Cooper knows something isn’t right but he doesn’t seem to be looking for Oscar. Cooper has been VERY calm! He will be 2 years old in July and I’m hoping for a big improvement in his behavior. He goes full speed ahead ALL day. He is constantly looking for something he can jump up and grab and shred. If there’s anything hanging over the back of a chair or the sofa, he’ll jump up and grab it. We have a metal cabinet in the downstairs family room and I have magnet cup hooks on it and I will hang floss tags for floss I’m using. I always hang them high enough that neither dog can jump up and get the floss but that doesn’t stop them from trying.

He seems so much thinner than Oscar but Cooper only weighs two pounds less. Oscar is much more stout and muscular. They look about the same length too but Cooper just seems way longer and way more skinny.

I think as they age, Oscar is going to be the one who wants to sit next to me in the chair and Cooper is going to be the one wanting to sit on my lap, always wanting to snuggle.
For today, I’m missing Oscar, anxious to get him home but thankful Cooper has stayed so calm today.
