It is no secret that I always have to be busy and, when sitting and waiting, I always have to have something to do. It will be away from home and I don’t know how good the lighting will be so cross stitching was out. I thought about knitting but decided this will be a good time to get some pieces laced and ready to frame. For a few hours this afternoon, I was matching up stitched pieces with frames, cutting the foam board (or is it foam core? – I don’t know). I will be doing good to get one, maybe two of these laced but . . just in case I have more time than I think I will, here are the pieces I’m taking with me.

Four of these were finished in 2002. Time to get them all on the walls, huh? Two of them are Christmas so they’ll be finished and ready for holiday decorating.

This is one of my favorites and I will be really happy to get it on the wall.

Another 2022 finish that I will be happy to have on the wall. I’m going to remove all those pins before I leave some so I don’t have to deal with them while lacing.
There’s one more that’s just stuck in a frame but not laced. I’m not taking it with me. I believe I have more than I will be able to get done in the amount of time I will have.
Can you imagine if I get ALL these laced this week? Popping them in the frame takes just a minute or two. I could have 7 new pieces on my walls soon. Well . . five . . not putting Christmas up yet.

…I kept a Christmas ornament sampler I stitched on my wall for years. There was no chart. I just stitched a grid and filled in the spaces with designs from different charts. I never took it down because I loved it and liked to look at it. It didn’t bother me that it wasn’t the current season. A few years ago, I passed it on to a niece. 🙂
