A whole lot of the day was spent working in the garden but late in the evening, I was able to get in some good stitching.

I was able to stitch my dad’s name, year of birth and year of death, and the town and state where he grew up.
I was able to make 474 stitches today!

That looks great! You were able to accomplish a lot yesterday. I will be doing yard work most of the day today. We have a break in rainy weather today.

I think last night was our last night with temps down near 40 so I should go out and plant my peppers today. It’s supposed to rain again tomorrow. I’ve already sat down . . should never have done that! 🙂
Good luck getting your yard work done.

So sorry to hear of your dads passing. I bought my Featherweight from him. Will always remember your moms beautiful hand quilted quilts.

Thanks. I’m glad you have one of his machines. He did love those Featherweights. Yes, mom had a ton of quilts!
