I had planned to stitch one row of the prayer each day but last night after I got in bed, I was thinking about it. What if I stitch all the way down to the last couple of rows and something is wrong? After I stitched one row per day, I was going to go back and work more on the border but if the verse doesn’t fit in that “cartouche”, it would be super hard to fix it and I might give up.
This morning when I picked it up and looked at it again, I decided I would stitch the first work or first letter of each row – stitch enough that it was easy to count where I should begin the next row.
I’m very, very happy that I got all the way down and it worked perfectly.

Now I can go back and fill in the verses, knowing they’re going to work. I can finish one row of the prayer each day, then work on the border the rest of the day.
Still not sure why I thought there was a mistake . . if there is a mistake or not but I suppose soon enough, I’ll find out.
What are your thoughts?
