Yesterday was the day I stitched most of the day with my friend, Debbie. I’ve been calling her “my friend” and I asked her yesterday if I could say her name on here and she said sure . . so, my friend now has a name. You know how much I love being at home and I love stitching alone because there’s so much going on with canning, cooking, dogs, gardening, etc. that when I have a few minutes to stitch, I do it when I can and, until the dogs are exhausted, about 10 p.m., I don’t get much stitching time. Not many people would want to stitch with me from 10 p.m. til 2 or 3 a.m.! 🙂
But, I met Debbie a while back and we decided to get together and stitch once a week. We live about an hour apart so one week I go to see her and the next week, she comes here. The only times we haven’t gotten together in probably at least six months was when I was feeling bad for a couple of weeks with the kidney stone. There have been days when we had to change our meeting day to another day but we always seem to be able to get together. I have so much fun and look so forward to those days. We start a 9 a.m. and stitch til 4 p.m.
I don’t carry a magnifying lamp with me so I keep a project in the works on 36 count linen for our stitching days. I do have a pair of glasses that are a bit stronger than my usual glasses and those help a lot.

This is my current project that I take with me to our stitching day. It is being stitched on a 36 count Picture This Plus linen. I am not sure about the color. Heritage used to be somewhat green but I’m not sure it was ever this green. I love Picture This Plus linen and I love how the colors in this project show up on this green. The chart is This is the Day by Plum Street.
