I’ve mentioned on here before how much I love the Souper Cubes. There’s hardly a day that goes by that I’m not adding something to the Souper Cubes or getting something out to vacuum seal and freeze it so I can re-use the cube. I love the cookie dough freezer tray. Yes, I could put scoops of dough onto a cookie sheet and freeze it and I’ve done that many times but I feel so “together” when I’m using the freezer trays. I can make several batches of different cookies, freeze them, then mix and match when putting them in the bags so that when I bake 4 or 6 cookies at a time, we can each have a variety over the next few days.
I knew that Souper Cubes folks lost their home and belongings in the CA fire. Their business location has not been affected as of now. This morning I got an email from them updating subscribers about what’s happening. They mentioned that since they know all too well the pain of losing everything, they are offering to replace Souper Cubes for the folks who have lost everything in the North Carolina storms/floods OR the California fires. Isn’t that so kind??
There is a form to fill out. I don’t know how it will all work but if you’ve been on the fence about ordering Souper Cubes or, if you have them and love them and want more, now would be a good time to support this company.
Reading Michelle’s note this morning brought tears to my eyes. It seems like they are very good people and while they are hurting, they want to help others.

Hello! I’m new to your blog but this particular post caught my eye! I recently ordered Super Cubes, in fact I’m still waiting for my two cup size to be delivered. I am so sorry to hear that they lost everything, but wow, so amazing to hear that they will replace cubes for their customers. What a wonderful company, and such a sweet and caring thing to do. Thanks for posting this!

Thank you for writing. Your blog name caught my eye. We lived in Kentucky for almost 10 years and had our first hot browns there and learned to love them and we have them from time to time here. In fact, today we were going to have leftovers. It was a toss up between leftover pizza or adding tomato sauce/juice to the roast beef and veggies we had earlier this week and making soup, and having hot browns with the soup. We ended up with pizza tonight and will have the soup and sandwiches tomorrow. Going back to look over your blog and see if there’s a post or two about how you make your hot browns.

that’s very generous of them to think of others in their tragedy. I just ordered a set of souper cubes
