The last part of last week, there was a lot going on and I didn’t get a lot of stitching done. I made myself sit down and try to get a few stitches in but the January Blessing Sampler is supposed to be started on or after January 1 and finished by January 31. In Markup, it tells me when I should finish the project, based on the progress I’m making. After three or four days of very little stitching, Markup was saying my finish date would be February 8, then 9, then 10 so the last two days, I’ve committed to getting close to 500 stitches done each day and, as of tonight, Markup says I will be finished on January 26. My target date is January 15. It may actually get finished sometime between January 15 and January 26.
See the strip at the top on the right side of the pink top of the weathervane. Not even sure what that pink thing is but I still have the left side to stitch, then fill in some flowers, then do that whole (left and right side) at the bottom, a tree on the left and right side of the house, and then two birds and a few little “doo-dads”. Markup says I’m about 31% done but I’m feeling more like I’m about 50% done. Sometimes the percentage isn’t right . . sometimes less right than other times, so I’m hoping it’s not right.
Today I plan to work on the two trees. If I get those stitched (doubtful), I will then go back to the top and work on finishing that top section.
This is 46 count linen and it would have gone way faster if this was 40 count, or even if I was using silk floss instead of DMC on the 46 count. I won’t make this same mistake again but it’s going to be a very pretty piece and I’ll be happy to finish it.

I really like this piece. I must be missing it, but who is the designer so that I can find it to order.
