Gift Ideas

For anyone with a Corgi or Dachschund lover on your gift giving list, here are two ideas.

Addie loves Corgis – they have two. While in Walmart yesterday, I saw these slippers.

I grabbed her size and put it in the cart. Then I started thinking . . she’s such a “teen” these days, maybe she would think they were stupid so I sent Nicole the picture and she wrote me back and said “Yes, she loves them but her other grandma just bought them for her!” Even though I didn’t get them, I thought I would share in case anyone else has a Corgi lover.

Saturday a friend sent me a link to Dachshund-opoly. I immediately ordered it for Vince for Christmas (from the boys). It arrived Sunday! I was in the kitchen and he said “We got a box from Amazon”. He grabbed a knife to open the box and I said “WAIT! That may be a Christmas gift for you!” He stopped and it was. I couldn’t believe how quickly it got here.

I can’t wait for us to play this game. As soon as I can . . when Vince isn’t home, I’m going to open it and make sure all the pieces are included. I noticed on some of the comments that a few people had missing parts. So, if you do order it, make sure you have all the pieces.
