The not so great part is that the dachshunds had me up at 4 a.m., which seems to becoming a habit with them. But, make lemonade with those lemons! I was going to leave the house little before 9 to go stitch with a friend so I thought about trying to go back to bed but the dogs wanted to play so I did a bit more stitching on Love is the Key by Teresa Kogut.
A bit of photo bombing by the cutest little black dachshund ever!
OK . . here’s where I am on this one. Still a long way to go.
Then I went to stitch with my friend and worked on Rejoice Evermore by Brenda Gervais.
The door needs to be stitched and the curtains in two windows need to be stitched. Then the house will be done! I had the door partially stitched but didn’t love the variegated thread so I ripped it out and will use a solid color for the door. There’s still a lot to be done on this one too.
I left stitching with my friend, went by Chad’s to pick up used jars he’s been buying for me. Chad was still at work, Addie wasn’t home so I had a quick visit with Nicole.
Then I started home but ran by a lady’s house and picked up 3 dozen eggs. Came home to two very happy dogs when their mom walked in! Now I’m going to sit and stitch on Love is the Key til bedtime.

Both projects are looking great. That house is a whole lot of stitching!

Yes! It’s a good thing I love stitching houses.
