I cleaned off the boxes at the end of the sofa, opened the top one and it was full of quilts – no fabric. I then noticed the second one said “Bedding” which is what Vince wrote because he felt it was safer than writing “Quilts” with packers and movers involved. Thank you, Vince!
Then I had a brief moment of panic because if I had boxes of bolts of fabric that had been in the hot, humid storage rental for three years, they were definitely not going to be sold. I might would have washed them and used them but I wasn’t even sure that would be safe. I asked Vince if he thought any boxes of fabric were in the storage building and he said “No! Everything from the sewing room came in the first truck and he didn’t have the storage buildings until the second truck got here. That made me feel better.
I didn’t remember putting fabric on the shelves on the north side of the sewing room and the long arm is on that side so I don’t often even look over there but . . there’s the missing fabric, two layers deep on two shelves so at least that mystery is solved.
I may get more full bolts posted tonight and if so, I’ll add an update to the blog.

Whew!! When you ‘lose” your fabric it is probably time to sell some….oh, wait, you lose just about everything from time to time 😉
