In this post, I had outlined my stitching plans for August and September. The project for August 1 -15 was to get the motifs along the left side outlined, stitch the “spine” of the left border to make sure it’s going to work like I think it will. Here’s where it was when I started on August 1.
I wasn’t sure how I was feeling about the floss colors I chose but now that I can see more of it, I love it.
Here’s where I am as of last night:
Top and part of the left side:
Last two motifs on the left side.
I’m doing good, don’t you think?
What I plan to do for the next few days is bring the frame of the border on down to make sure my border idea is going to work, then go back and work on some of motifs to fill them in more.
These Quaker type designs are hard for me and there’s been a good amount of ripping and re-stitching but I’m really happy with it so far.

Thanks. I keep telling myself that the green is too dark/bright but then when I see the whole thing instead of one small section (scroll frames), I like it.
