I’ve decided that I’m probably not going to do a lot of quilting in the future and I’m going to start selling the stash. I have a large amount that I’m donating to a local group that makes Quilts of Valor but there’s a lot of fabric here.
There are several Facebook groups that allow selling fabric. I’ve joined a couple but decided to offer some of it here if there’s any interest.
There are MANY bolts of Andover Dimples, Michael Miller Krystal and Hoffman Batik. If there’s any of that you want, send me an email and we can talk about it.
A few things to note:
- Fabric on the bolt is mostly all still in the plastic wrapper and has not been washed.
- Cut fabric has all been washed.
- It has been stored in the sewing room and there’s a cat in there.
- It has all been stored in a closet with no windows in Texas and in the basement here in MO.
- Shipping costs will be added and I will get as close as I can to the actual cost.
- If you order the entire bolt, I will remove the fabric from the bolt, fold it and ship it in a box.
- For bolts, you may order anywhere from 2 yards to the entire bolt.
Here are two bolts I pulled this morning.
This is Michael Miller Krystal (4235-D) and it is a bright, deep ink. This is a 10 yard bolt.
This is Michael Miller Krystal (1024-D) and it’s a mustard color. This is a 10 yard bolt.
Again, if there’s a specific fabric or color you’re wanting, please let me know and I’ll see what I have.

I may be interested in some to use as edgings. I have two quilt tops that were made for a double size bed, but mine is a queen. One is a bow-tie quilt I need to make bigger overall with more bow-ties, because I want to use it as a bed spread. The other is an appliqued butterfly quilt top. The main issue with it is the color used between the squares is a god-awful florescent green color. I need something to hopefully downplay the green… I’m not a quilter, but the bow-tie quilt top was done by one of my grandmothers, and the other quilt top came from a friend who passed a few years ago, so I do want to finish them. I would actually love to hand them off to someone else to finish, but I suspect that might run into more money than I can afford to spend. If I can finish piecing them, I can afford to have someone quilt them.

You may be better off taking the tops to a quilt shop where you can “audition” the colors and find something that works with the green.

Betsy’s Quilt Shop in Antlers, Oklahoma often buys out shops that close. If you get down to when you just want it gone, consider contacting them. Maybe they would come get the fabric.

I would be interested in some Andover Dimples and perhaps some of the batik. I will try to be in touch with you later in the weekend.
